Songwriter's notes - This song was originally written in 2012 for a concept album about call center life. With my other band (Spear) having adopted one of the songs from that concept ("Everybody Cheats"), that album's likely to become a various artists compilation of sorts...kinda like a soundtrack for a movie that doesn't really exist.
lyrics
I used to work with someone who's a legend in her time
I can't believe that there were times I wished that she was mine
Her status, always single, her attendance one big IF
She'd scream at irate callers, she'd so easily get pissed
She's a wild child, call taking, sleep around-ing, drunken party girl
If you get her nice and wasted you might end up at her flat
When you wake up in the evening that won't be the end of that
If you don't wear something special, you know, something for the rain
You'll be pulling out your willy and then screaming out in pain
She's a wild child, call taking, sleep around-ing, drunken party girl
You better watch out if she joins up with your team
You might think she's the girl of your every dream
When you're kissing her she's looking the other way
She don't want love, she lives each day for play
She sucks up to the bosses and she spreads gossip and lies
She's a watercooler topic, you don't need to ask me why
She's only twenty two but slept with more men than her age
If I didn't know better I'd tell you it's just a stage
But it isn't
'Cause she's a wild child, call taking, sleep around-ing, drunken party girl
She's a wild child, call taking, sleep around-ing, drunken party girl
She's a wild child, call taking, sleep around-ing, drunken party girl
